eMachines Intel Desktop Computer (Refurbished)

I was very pleased when my purchase was delivered only three days after I ordered it. That was my last, and only, bit of satisfaction with this deal. I had it installed six days later by a computer savvy friend. It worked well for about four hours before I shut it down and went to bed. The next day the unit could not be turned on. Manufacturer's trouble shooter technician could not solve the problem and arranged for me to ship it to them for repair. It was shipped to them on 3/28. As of today, 4/12, it has not yet been repaired. Over two weeks without my newly purchased PC. Why was I not given a replacement, rather than inconvenienced in this manner?

I was definetly skeptical when I opted to purchase a refurbished item, but I have to tell you that this machine is totally underrated by most of my friends who only use Dell products. Dell does have one of the best product lines so I was concerned that my item might not match up. Thank you for helping me to save a substantial amount of money for the services your little machine gives is just overwhelming me it has wonderful speed and the vista program is already helping me to stay safe. The only problem that I had is that the door to the cd driver acted like it didn't want to open. Then I got real worried thinking maybe I had gotten scammed and I was really frustrated to think I had gotten a bad deal, but then I noticed on one of the stickers that was in plain view that there was a number to call for help. I called and the woman was very helpful and she had me up and running and I've been running ever since. Thank you overstock.com for making my purchase easy and very affordable. So to everyone who has not been able to afford a beautiful machine with the luxury of being able to play movies on it or to hear songs and videos without it skipping bad. I promise you, You will not be disappointed in any way it is definetly a much higher step up for a lot less money. Thank you and Sincerely Debby from Campbellsville, Ky.
