I needed a capture device to take all my old vhs tapes onto dvd before they were gone by age. This device was easy to install and the performance is great. Additionally it allows me to capture tv directly to disk. great buy

not exactly what i was expecting buy there's no one to blame but myself.i should have done some more research on the item first...
in time i should get it in better working condition.
with everything conected to my pc it was quite dificult to connect at first but my biggest complaint is not having full screen on my monitor while recording..
still all in all it's well made and i need to re-read the directions some more.
