I am a nursing student and use this product to keep a medical dictionary, drug guide, and a few other resources handy. The programs were a bit tricky to upload, but now they are working well. My biggest gripes are that it does not sync with my computer (possibly doesn't play well with Vista??) and that I can only get a 1 GB memory card to work. It does not recognize anything larger than that. This is a great little product - especially if the price is significantly lower than the newer E2.

This is my second Tungsten E, bought it for my wife. NO complaints then and now. IF you are wanting a PDA with ease of operation, limited to no issues, then this will be your choice.

This thing does everything my wife needs it to. It's so handy. Not only does it take care of her calendar, address book, shopping list and todo lists, but she can jot down ideas for her writing. The only problem she's had is that she can't get it to HotSync with her laptop no matter what she does. She's been through all the support sites and nothing fixes the problem. She's really going to grumble if she ever has to reload all the info by hand again.

The unit arrived promptly and safely. I had to download software from Palm's website as the disk included didn't work for some reason. Also, the unit does not include an instruction book, so I have had to get User Manual from the web site also. Never the less, the unit works very well. The screen is bright and clear and it is very easy to operate and update.

This item has been discontinued as most non-cellular PDAs have been. When I could not get the PDA to communicate with one of my laptops due to a firewall, I contacted Palm for assistance and they refused to help because the item was refurbished and because the item was a discontinued model. You're on your own with purchasing this one. I loaded the software on a desktop without a firewall and it seems to work just fine though.
