Overall good purchase for my needs. Slow to start up, has good graphics, speakers below par. It is stated Built-in stereo. Far from it.

I have had the laptop for about a month now and it is ok. The mouse pad is not very good. Sometimes it does not want to respond. Also, I feel that sony waisted a lot of space around the key board. The screen is nice and it is ok, but not great.

The only thing that needs to be done is the memory will need to be upgraded in my laptop. 1GB is not enough to run Windows Vista, but overall I am completely satisfied. The price couldn't be beat and the quality is perfect considering the machine is refurbished. I would recommend Overstock.COM to anyone.

I was looking for a laptop for work and had a fairly limited budget; after substantial research I purchased this unit. So far my experience has been wonderful. Shipping was on time and the product was not only what was promised but in fact was a moderate upgrade due to what I understand was a stock shortage. I was suspicious as to whether or not it was an actual "upgrade" but looked into it and in fact that was true. The laptop is so far fast, reliable, and ergonomically well designed. I would and do recommend Overstock and this computer to friends and family.
