After receiving the product I got my Macs to connect with the printers with no problem. This makes a big difference to be able to connect my printers onto my network and have them ready available to all of my machines. I would highly recommend this product to have a printer remotely.

No software
No manual
And won't work on all printers
Of course you don't find that out until you go on their site and finally get a list of printers it works with. Don't bother contacting customer service about newer printers. Netgear just refers you to the same sorry list and Epson (my printer mfg) says contact Netgear

First of all, buying a reconditioned product was great for the price, BUT it didn't come with the installation CD which was problematic! This is also hard to install so give yourself alot of time to figure it out. The directions are not clear, so be prepared to a tough road--its doable and we finally figured it out and it works GREAT! I love having the laptop in the upstairs and the printer down....makes life easier!

This product sounds great in print. However, I was very disappointed. Setup/installation seems fairly easy--unless you run into a problem. The only source of help was through Netgear's e-mail support. I provided a good deal of information on the problem I was having. I indicated that the printer I wished to connect (HP Color LaserJet 1600) was not listed on their compatible list, but it was not on their "definitely not compatible" list either. I asked if they could tell me if the printer was supported or not. The response totally ignored the information I provide and simply started down their canned list of steps. I played along and invested approx. 5 hours trying to make the thing work. After 4 or 5 e-mail exchanges they finally said the the printer was probably not compatible. I ended up returning the Netgear WGPS606 and buying a D-Link DPR-1260. The D-Link setup/installation instructions were simple to follow and within 10 minutes I was printing to the HP Color LaserJet 1600 that I could not get the Netgear product to support.

Easy to install with my older USB Prnter & works great with my personal wireless network! Netgear website had the software I needed.
