At the moment, 8 GB is, I believe, the largest capacity flash memory stick Sony offers. I got it for a new Sony camera but it also -- to my surprise -- works in my 4-year old TR1A notebook. It can store some 2000 images in 8-megapixel mode, and over 18 hours of video in MPEG4 compression. Only 4 of the 8 MB are recognized by my 2004 DCR-PC350 Sony Handycam -- which I expected. I remember the 360k black floppies of the mid 1980s. From 360 thousand bytes to a thousand billion bytes! Soon we'll be able to stuff a terabyte into a postage stamp-sized card . . . The Overstock price was the best I could find on the Web.
