Product Description
Cisco Linksys Wireless-N WRT150N Home Router
Product Summary:The Wireless-N WRT150N Home Router is really three devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect to the network without wires. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Finally, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.
The Access Point built into the Router uses the very latest wireless networking technology: Wireless-N (draft 802.11n). By overlaying the signals of multiple radios, Wireless-N's Multiple In, Multiple Out (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate.

The "easy" setup only works if you restart after each of the 10 steps, the connection is super slow (when it works at all), 1/2 hour max befor it kicks you off the internet, kicks one computer off when another tries to get online, really a horrible, horrible piece of equipment. I trashed this thing and went back to my only slightly worse (yet MUCH more reliable) cable company router.

Upgraded from a B to an N router. Performance has been great and due to some home pc issues I had to have tech support walk me thru setting up my WEP key on my work PC. Call was routed thru India, however, it was very smooth and very easy to get it done with their help.

Initially the WRT150N was great, Installation was a breeze. I then found out that when using with my laptop at home, it would drop the wireless connection for no reason. Evidently this has occured to many people. See the Linksys user form on problems with the WRT150N.

I am very pleased with the router. It was easy to install and works well. The price on Overstock was not better than other web sites but they do ship quickly.

I bought this as a wireless router for just use around my room to get ride of all the clutter of a dozen wires. Since it's installation i had numerous problems with getting kicked off the internet, something that rarely if ever happened without it. I gave it about a week and ended up disconnecting it. It was not worth the money and I plan on returning it. Not recommended.
