My new PC did not have a serial port. this left me with my PDA that I could not use. This cable solved the problem, Thanks. It works great

The installation goes smoothly, and my computer is able to recognize another serial port (6) without issues. But, none of my old programs will use this port (even with remapping) to communicate with the serial devices. Bottom line, my old serial devices may now be hooked up to my computer but they still don't work because the software does not recognize this port.

Item received was a different color than pictured. Looks gray/black received a blue one. Since I needed it I did not sent it back
