USB 2-in-1 Hotsync/ Charging Cable for HP iPAQ

The original cable was lost or misplaced....the iPAQ is dated and I was very pleased to be able to purchase one and still use the item. Saved me several hundred dollars to not have to purchase another unit... Received the cable quickly after ordering too!

What you see in the picture is not what you receive. I received a generic cable that does not charge the unit.

It would have been a great value had it worked with my iPaq (rx1955). It did eventually charge the unit, but would not when the battery was completely dead (PC couldn't recognize iPaq w/o power). I encountered the biggest problem when I attempted to sync the iPaq with the PC -- screen would flash bright and dim and it was difficult to get the sync software (Microsoft) to recognize the iPaq. Once the two were connected, the sync would start and then the connection would be broken. Luckily, shortly after I received and tried this cable, I found the ones that came with the iPaq -- and they work fine.

it says usb 2 for hp ipaq but doesn't say specifically , which model.the one I, have hp ipaq 6300, its doenst fit and work.The add is misleading and should be corrected to specify , which model of ipaq it works with.

I ordered the USB 2 in 1 Hotsync/Charging Cable for HP iPAQ but I only received the sync cable.
