When I received my Palm TX I was a little concerned because it was shipped in a bown box, not the original packaging. However, once I installed the software on my laptop and set up the unit, all my concerns went away. I love the speed of my TX; something that seems to be lacking in phone combo units. Unit functions perfectly and it's easy to explore the TX's capabilities. It's easy to hot sync with my lap top and I truely enjoy this mobil powerhouse. I can't believe I waited this long to get one! I highly recommend this product. Only thing I need now is an additional data card with my state's statutes for even better capabilities.

I had a Tungsten E that worked great. This model was a treat that I couldn't see myself spending the money on. Then my wife gave it to as a gift.
It works much better than the Tungsten E and is worth the extra money. I love the screen, the ability to go to landscape and get the internet.
Only one problem with the refurbished model. 35 days after ordering it, the built in speaker stopped working. Just past the return date. No problem cause I paid for the extended protection plan, right? Wrong. I have to send it to Florida (I live in Utah) and wait 3-4 weeks to get it fixed. I use it everyday in work and can't go that long without it. So just be aware that the protection plan may not be worth it.
Otherwise I recommend the Palm TX.
